Our season runs from late April through October, depending on nature’s whims. You can find our flowers at the Ellenville Farmer’s Markets, Black Dot Cafe and Morning Sunshine on Friday through Sunday, and we’re launching our first CSA this spring. More to come in 2026!
Superbloom is currently based on a one-acre plot at Grateful Woods, offering farm-to-vase market bouquets composed of a selection of seasonal specialty blooms and native flowers and unique event florals and experiences.
Superbloom’s Roots
Owner/operator Ali started Superbloom Flowers as a small-scale flower farm based in the Hudson Valley to offer our community fresh, seasonal flowers. I grew up in my mother’s gardens in the Sierra Nevadas before spending a decade as an architectural historian and city planner in San Francisco and New York. I was drawn to flowers through my childhood of watching my mom bring our gardens to life and her floral designs as a florist in Lake Tahoe. After relocating to the Catskills in 2021 and assisting a new flower farm for a season, I fell in love with the hard work, dirty fingernails and intimate connections and joy that flowers can ignite.
Why Superbloom?
A superbloom is a rare moment when, after seasons of drought or dormancy, the land bursts into extraordinary wild abundance and color - golden California poppies, layered color, and quiet resilience made visible. The name Superbloom honors my deep love of wildflowers and a sense of place rooted in California’s landscapes. It reflects patience, renewal, and the beauty that emerges when conditions are right, celebrating flowers that are natural, expressive, and unfussy. Superbloom represents a trust in cycles, the power of tending the soil through every season, and the joy of beauty arriving all at once.
FAQs
Can I visit the farm?
While we are not currently open to the public, you are welcome to come see the farm Friday and Saturday afternoons from our farm stand or schedule a private you-pick. Please note that the property is an active farm and many of the fences are electrified for the safety of the animals.
Do you offer full-service weddings?
We do! We are collaborating with incredibly talented designers in 2026 to offer our first season of full-service weddings. We also offer DIY buckets and a la carte elements including bouquets and bouttoniers. If you would like flowers for a special event outside of our online offerings, please contact us and we will set up a consultation. Our minimum for full service weddings starts at $3,000, but we do not have a minimum spend on a la carte or DIY events.
Are your flowers organic?
We strive to use organic and regenerative practices although our flowers are not currently certified. We do not use any synthetic fertilizers, chemical pesticides, or other products that wouldn’t feel safe allowing our staff or family to be in contact with. We additionally dabble in Korean Natural Farming (KNF) practices to enhance the native microbiology of our soil and overall health of the flowers. I’m committed to the health of the soil because our flowers are a reflection of the vitality below.
