Spring CSA Share

Frequently Asked Questions

  • CSA stands for Community Share Agriculture, and is one of the most powerful ways a community can support their local farms! By purchasing your blooms up front, you are helping Superbloom establish a sustainable business model that will help us operate in the off-months (November through March) while being able to buy the seeds, bulbs, and other supplies necessary to prepare for a successful season.

As a thank you for your support, we will always prioritize our CSA bouquets before retail outlets by offering our members the most fun and unique flower varietals available on the farm.

  • Our CSA bouquets are valued at $30 each, a fuller option than our typical retail bouquets. While some weeks may be valued at more or less depending on the type of flowers in bloom and availability, we will always ensure you get the full value of your share, and CSA members will be first in line for special promotions and bonuses.

  • Superbloom was established to offer a local alternative to imported flowers, which are typically shipped halfway across the world and treated with unregulated pesticides, herbicides, and preservatives. We only use natural pest management, natural fertilizers, and a whole lot of hippy dippy woo woo concoctions to care for the health of our flowers and the soil they grow in. Our flowers will not last forever in a vase, but our more gentle approach is intended for a long term benefit to our communities - both micro and macro.

  • No worries! Life happens. If you’re unable to pick up flowers one week, please either (a) let a friend or loved one enjoy your blooms for the week, (b) email us at least 72 hours before the pick up window and we will coordinate a one-time complimentary extension of your subscription or (c), let us know and we will donate the bouquet to a local senior living facility for elders who aren’t frequently visited by loved ones. It’s entirely up to you.

If you are a no-show for a pick up and they haven’t been picked up within the timeframe outlined in your agreement they will be donated to the Rochester Food Pantry in Accord and someone will undoubtedly appreciate them. If we are not informed in advance there are no refunds or term extensions.
